How to Prep Your Home When You’re Away for the Holidays

If your plans change and you’re coming home earlier or later than planned, simply adjust the pre-set schedule on your smart thermostat. Investing in security cameras and automated lights will help ensure that your home stays secure while you’re gone. Modern automated lighting systems allow you to pre-set on/off times at varying intervals. You can also have your television or radio come on at various times of the day and evening so it sounds like someone is home.
